Hollywood Unions Band Together to Combat Sexual Harassment

A number of Hollywood unions have joined together in a pledge to combat sexual harassment. Those unions included SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, the Directors Guild of America, the Writers Guild of America East, and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.

These unions have pledged to share contract language, training resources, codes of conduct, and best practices to enhance the individual efforts of each union.

All of this is in response to the #MeToo movement, which was ignited in 2017 when accusations against Harvey Weinstein arose. Since that time, numerous victims of sexual harassment have spoken out against their harassers. Many of those victims who have spoken out are members of the entertainment industry.

If you believe you have been the victim of sexual harassment, please consider contacting the lawyers at the Bullman Law Firm.  We represent workers, not employers. Our number is (503) 987-0000. There is no charge for your call.
